Sunset Sunday ~ A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words…and, a Thousand Thoughts

It’s true what they say… a picture is worth a thousand words.  And, the same picture will have a different meaning for me than what it has for you.  And, that is the beauty of it all.  What I love most of all though is that it is worth a thousand thoughts…a thousand memories…a thousand...

Sunset Sunday ~ Sometimes It’s Worth Reliving a Favorite Moment…or, In This Case…a Sunset

Just when you think a sunset really can’t be more beautiful there comes another day that ends with another masterpiece. Its magnificence is so incredible, breathtaking, and is sure to go down on our gratitude list. And, the only thing that is brighter than this setting sun is the memory of it…because I assure you...

Sunset Sunday ~ Beauty Found in the Storms of Life

When talk of storms begins to surface it’s time to prepare, make sure our survival kit is packed and ready, and it’s time to secure things.  Isaac has been the talk of the week as he has made his way closer and closer to Florida {and, many other areas}.  He’s been unpredictable…alot like LIFE. Hi Anne! Thank you…we are doing fine from the storm. I was so thankful it was not as bad as initially expected but am so sorry to see how damaging it has been for other areas. I so agree…I definitely think our faith just grows in difficult times…helping us to cope with other moments we must face. Such a comfort to know God is always walking with us! Hugs, my friend!! 🙂ReplyCancel

Hi Dawn!! Oh, I am so happy to hear this…you know I don’t ever know or plan what I am going to write for my “Sunset Sunday” posts, and I truly feel as though God just gives me the message that I need to share. And, I love that it usually feels like a message that I also need. 🙂 Yes, BREATHE is definitely a word I focus on…I even have a cute bracelet I need to share on the blog that helps me remember to do this!! And, it truly is helpful to focus on breathing and relaxing…I can most always feel myself becoming calmer when I take time to do this. Thank you…I’m glad you like the photos. Even the dark, cloudy days are beautiful at the beach…just a beauty all their own. I’m so thankful our weather has not been worse but have been thinking of all those that are dealing with such scary situations from it in other areas. Yay!! ~ so happy ART is blessing you so much!! It is such a beautiful therapy, and I hope you enjoy lots of it this b’day year!! Hugs to you!!ReplyCancel

Some weeks are filled with a bit more stress, a little more tugging at your heart, and that “tried and true” feeling of knowing that you are worrying when you shouldn’t be. But, sometimes...
