I hope you had a great Valentine’s Day yesterday!  In honor of Valentine’s weekend I am offering a little something special in the shoppe.  Calling all you TEA LOVERS!!  When you purchase one or more 2 ounce (or, 4 ounce) bags of tea you will receive a complimentary 2 ounce bag of tea (one complimentary bag per order) (Your Choice!…Please choose from the herbal, black, or green teas…this offer does not include white or decaf teas.).  If you have been thinking of trying a new flavor or just happen to be out of one of your favorite blends, this is the perfect time to stock up.  And, if you are not a hot tea drinker, you may enjoy several of the blends as iced tea.  Yes, I know it is winter, but I do know I have tea lovers out there that just really enjoy iced tea year round.  Even I like to keep a pitcher of one of my favorite herbal or green teas in the refrigerator!  I love the herbal teas because they are naturally decaffeinated, and so many people have to be careful about caffeine consumption.  These herbal teas are so flavorful so they even work as a great substitute if you are trying to avoid sugary, calorie heavy drinks.  I had several guests that visited the tea room tell me that they did not like tea.  Well, being the “tea lady” it was my responsibility to encourage them to taste it…you know that saying “Try it; you might like it!”.  Well, it was often the case with these guests, and before you knew it they were choosing a few blends to take home with them.  So, I encourage you to “think outside the box”…or, in this case (and, because you know I love TEA terminology…teeheehee), think outside the teacup!  Try something different; try a blend that you would not normally try.  You might like it, and since you will receive a complimentary bag with your order it is a great time to experiment.

Here’s a sweet little thought for the day that I want to share with you.  You know how much I love inspirational words and thoughts so I will often share some of my favorites here with you.  Hope you enjoy them, and I hope they will add a bit of inspiration to your day!

Now, I don’t know about you, but I just happen to be a little guilty sometimes (just a little) of thinking about something too much, analyzing it, and then, becoming anxious about it.  During these moments when I realize I may be doing this, I try to remember exactly what the above verse says.  Goodness, it is hard to not worry and become a little anxious sometimes…but, I soooo like the ALTERNATIVE much better!
