Allow me to introduce my cousin…Chester the Cat! And, yes, he is a SASSY CAT but very suave and debonair, too, I might add! He lives with my grandparents, and from what I can tell..well, he, too, pretty much rules the roost! Kinda like I do….teeheehee! Several years ago when my Grandaddy was walking with my Auntie Kay one day they spotted a little kitten along the edge of the road. They scooped him up, took him home, and helped him to become healthy. My grandparents were not looking for a furry baby at the time, but Chester just happened along that day…so, they decided it was meant to be! And, so, the love affair began!
Chester has the whitest fur of any cat I have ever seen! Course he is always making sure he is stylin'…like I said…he's one charming dude! Look at those long arms…and, not to worry…he's got a tail long enough to match them, too! My mom thinks he has the longest tail of any cat she has ever seen! Isn't he a poser? Just look at those eyes…that innocent face…don't be fooled though! He likes to lie around as though he's just hanging out, and then, all of a sudden when an unsuspecting person passes by…well, out with the paw! He likes to spook you like this! haha He's SNEAKY like a CAT!
He's been asked to do a few movie roles, but he's turned them down. He likes living the quiet life, enjoying drinking from his bowl…ok, that's not really his bowl…but, he thinks it should be! Oh, yeah…Grandma isn't too happy when she catches him doing this number! Told you he is sassy!! But, then, look at that sweet little face…looks so soft spoken and charming! He's got claws though…don't be fooled, I tell ya!! 🙂
And, I hear that he likes to surprise Grandma with a little mouse here and there! Yuck…she is not at all happy about this! It's as though he thinks he has done a good thing…guess he thinks he is leaving her a treat! NOT!! My mom and I thought Chester would love this picture we created…wouldn't he be surprised to wake up and find a nice little mouse smiling at him?!! Teeheehee And, of course, in mommy's world…well, the mice are PINK! What can I do with her?!!
Don't forget that I did tell you that Chester is a stylin' kinda cat! Yep, one more thing you gotta love about Charming Chester…he,too, loves those Yellowbox flip flops! Now, here's a cat after my mom's heart! I like them, too, but Chester seems to be rather mesmerized by all the choices! What's a cat to do?!! 🙂
Cousin Chester, I'm sending you a paw~si~tively warm hello today…and, a hug, too! Hope you're staying out of trouble, you Sassy Cat!!
