What a fabulous day Saturday was!! It was my birthday!! WooHoo ~ I turned 14 years old, sweet peeps!! And, of course, before I was even awake good, my sweet parents were loving on me and singing birthday songs. They were so excited about surprising me with a trip to the beach!

 Nothing like wiggling your paws in the sand! I love how soft it is…like sugar between my toes! Where to go first?!!

The sun was just beginning to set so the sky was all sorts of pretty shades of pink, yellow, and blue.

 My mom had her camera so she was snapping pics faster than I could run! You know how she is with that camera! She didn’t want to miss one moment of this sweet memory of my special day!

 The sunset was amazing!!

 Wow! ~ All those pinks and yellows turned into the deepest, most beautiful shades of orange and gold!

 God certainly created a stunning sunset for my sweet day!! {Just like for Poppy’s!} I even dipped my toes in the water, and much to mommy’s dismay, Poppy let me get a little more of my fur coat wet!! Guess who needed a bath once we got home?!! Nothing like a little spa action to end the day and time to get all snuggly in my bathrobe! Ah, sweet joys, I tell ya!

Thank you for all the birthday wishes and special thoughts you all sent to me! I loved each one and always love hearing from you! Y’all are the best, and you truly know how to help a birthday boy celebrate!!!
