Yes, it is fall so why am I sharing pictures of pink flowers and butterflies?  Well, butterflies have been flying about allover the place here, and I just love watching them.  And, because I am quite the curious chick I just had to do a bit of searching to find out about their migration habits.  I felt like this must be their time to migrate but loved reading a bit more about these beauties.  Take a peek at this article ~ I think you’ll enjoy it, too!

I took the photo below today…the butterflies were everywhere (those 5 specks are butterflies)!  There have been so many of them the last few weeks.  It is no longer surprising to look up to find anywhere from 5-10 flying right around us, but I still get so excited when I see them like this.  The beach was so pretty today, and the butterflies were having such fun enjoying the sunshine!

 These flower photos were actually taken when we lived in Alexandria, Virginia.  There was a beautiful flower bed just down the walking path not far from our house where these bloomed, and I loved snapping pictures of them.

It was almost as though this butterfly was posing for me.  What a beautiful model!  I have been blessed to capture them close up like this on several occasions.  If you follow me on Facebook then you probably saw the photo of the one I shared last week.  I’ll be sharing the story of that butterfly soon.
