I told you to grab your flip flops…we're heading to the Cayman Islands!! This is just a "sneak peek" of our time in the islands. I'll be sharing lots more pictures throughout different posts so there is definitely more to come! Actually, I took soooo many pictures that I am having difficulty trying to edit them and sort through them all. But, each time I do…oh, goodness…I am taken right back to those beach breezes and sunny days!

I came across this quote and thought it was rather fitting for this picture. It is true, every where I turned I found new beauty to absorb during this trip.

This is one of my favorite pictures from our trip! I just love how it captures the beauty of the water and palm trees…not to mention the amazing green plants! Now, this picture definitely gives me that "island fever"!
Yes, I LOVE seashells! And, I found some of the most amazing ones on our trip. I love how this one looks like such an antique…ah, the stories it could tell! When you were a child did you used to hold up the shells to your ear so you could hear the ocean? Me, too (and, I still do!!)! I loved doing this…one of my fondest memories of collecting seashells. I can still see my mom smiling at me in anticipation as she waited to see my expression once I heard the ocean! Sweet memories!! Now, as for my shell collecting…poor John…each time I would promise that I would not try to carry any more back…well, there would be ONE more that I just had to have. And, of course, John kept eyeing me suspiciously and finally asked just how I thought I was going to get all of them home. Well, of course, I said "Where there's a will….there's a way!" And, so, somehow I managed to arrive home with all of my "beach loot"! Shh…don't tell…
I hope you've had a great Sunday! Tomorrow is the beginning of another busy week! It's going to be nice weather again, but I did see much colder weather for the end of the week just now on the news. I knew it was too good to be true! However, it is February, and I do love getting to experience each of the seasons here. It's just…well, you know…that "spring fever" starts getting the best of you after a few warm, sunny days! Keep your flip flops close by…we'll be heading back to the island shortly!
