Yep, I told you SPRING was coming soon! When we were in DC I caught a glimpse of these sweet little GREEN sprigs shining like a light in the midst of all that brown and just couldn't resist taking a picture! I started to pass them by, but then I thought of YOU…I thought about how I wanted to share a little sneak peek with you of what we have to look forward to. Before long there will be pretty blooms on these babies! Just wait and see! Each year about this time my mom and I will be chatting about how we are looking forward to spring…and, ready for it to arrive! And, each year when I start talking about loving to see these little sprigs popping up she reminds me that I, too, could have these in my flower beds. But, you know what…I don't like planting these and then having to wait for them to bloom. I know this is just how it works, and see, you can bet that once it gets this time of year…well, I am wishing I had listened to her. I would love walking out and seeing my own flowers popping up. I did have the idea of going to buy some tulips and just planting them in my flower beds now! Wouldn't that work??!! haha If you see pictures of such on here, and I tell you they are from my flower bed…well, you'll know the truth! At least I'm being honest!! haha Not to worry though…once that last frost has hit I will be heading out to buy some flowers for my flower bed. Then the tricky part is just remembering to keep them watered! You'll remind me, won't you?! Are you seeing signs of spring? I hope so!
