Have you chosen YOUR WORD for 2012???

Even before the New Year rolled around I was already thinking about what I might want MY WORD to be for 2012.  I like this idea but don’t think we should stress ourselves out too much about the fact that it is one word…for me, it’s really not.  It’s about so much more.  It’s about this one word that is the foundation for many other words, phrases, hopes, and goals.  I’ve got a couple words bouncing around in my mind, and I’ll decide soon.  I think I have until February 1st to make it concrete…if going along with Ali Edwards fun site.  Good, a little more time…because right now I’m still a little divided as to which one I like best.  But, I’m leaning towards one more than the other so this should end up being a simple task soon enough.  Do you choose one word for the year?  One word that you want to focus on, to act on, to plan your year journey along?  Maybe you like to make lots of resolutions.  I kinda do this, too, but I don’t really call them resolutions anymore.  I just like the sound of GOALS better.  I like to plan, put ideas and thoughts into my PINK calendar, work up goals for myself, and this year my word needs to embrace all of these things.  My word has a pretty big job, as I need it to be that thought I can direct my mind to when I am feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unmotivated.  Gosh, this word has a huge responsibility!! 🙂  Better choose a good one, huh??!!  But, don’t make it stressful…make it fun…let it be a little spot that helps to guide you in the direction you want to go.  That little light that keeps you on your path…even in the dark.
