Happy Tuesday Wednesday, Sweet Peeps!! Hope you are enjoying some fall weather in your little corner of the world.  We are beginning to have those nice breezes and cooler mornings and evenings. I love this time of year so much!  It’s much more enjoyable for me as I’m out on my walks!  And, I seem to notice mommy and poppy wanting to go for more walks!  Yippee!!

Speaking of the nonfurry people in the house…well, for a couple of years they have mentioned off and on about getting one of those Vitamix thingys. I’m not so sure I agree with all the hooplah of mixing up a bunch of this and that to create some green slushy looking drink…but, who am I to judge?!! So, they ordered one…yep, Mr. Vitamix arrived at our door, and they are so excited. They couldn’t wait to make a run to the market to get all sorts of colorful things to toss into that machine. I’m hoping it lives up to its reputation, and I’m guessing it will because I heard a lot of good things as they tasted their first smoothie creation. It went a little something like this…

Poppy had done quite a bit of talking about how he was going to be making smoothies so my mom was all excited to see him in action with this new toy.  Hmm…somehow poppy was putting my leash on right as my mom was getting all the ingredients ready for the making of the first smoothie.  Oh, yes, she noticed his timing!  She was all excited about testing it out though so no growling from her.  She got all the fruits and veggies washed and ready, checked the recipe, and began the process.  Wow!! ~ I gotta say…that machine is a little beast!! She waited til we returned so we could see it in action.  Grapes, orange pieces, pineapple, kale, banana, spinach, and other colorful things were being tossed all about!  Before I knew it, they were sipping on something that looked like blended grass to me!  But, they were oohing and aahing so I’m guessing it passed the test.

And, tonight their skin is glowing, I’m sure they lost a few pounds, and their heart is healthier!  Just kidding…but, I’m sure all this and so much more will happen as this sweet machine adds an extra dose of healthy to our house.

So, in the morning I’ll take one of these to sip on while I’m out on the patio doing my journaling.  Hmm…think I would like to try the Cherry Lime Smoothie mom made!  It was all pink and fluffy!
