I am most certain that the “It’s a new year…back to work…holiday is over” mantra really does not apply to me…just yet.  I’m just sayin’…I mean I did have to get my rabies vaccination yesterday, and that makes my muscle oh, so sore.  I could think of a thousand other paw~si~tive~ly awesome reasons that it is just not time for me to head back to work, but I will instead share a cute photo of me…working!!  So, my supervisor chair just so happens to be all comfy and cozy and resemble a bed…kinda…sorta…in a funny way.  🙂  I’m getting back into the swing of things slowly…ok, so it’s TAIL WAGGING SLOWLY…but, I’m getting there!!  Today I was so super busy trying to get my mom’s attention while she was working in the studio.  I have this new squirrel toy that squeaks {really loud!!} and just loved making it holler just about the time she was about to do some tedious painting on something.  I thought it was kinda funny…her…not so much.  Yes, there were times when she had to hold me and paint, write, sketch, etc, but I am sure it made her happy just knowing that she was giving me all that love and attention.  She’s pretty good at juggling me and all that other stuff she’s into.  It is possible that some furry lil guy was doing his best to prevent her from working today, but I wouldn’t know anything about that!

Just remember, as you get started in this new year, be sure to take time to love on those around you…it’s such a GIFT…for you and them!! 🙂
