I love to shop, and I love it even more when I know that my purchase is going towards a good cause.  I was recently contacted by Laura Odom of Laura Odom Photography and asked if I would be willing to donate one of my signature items to a Relay for Life auction she is setting up.  I was more than happy to participate in this fundraiser.  It seems we all know someone that has fought this battle or is currently doing so, and often times we feel rather helpless in trying to think of a way we can be helpful in these situations.  Well, here is a way we can help a great cause!  Laura is a cancer survivor so I know this is very close to her heart.  Each year her team has been one of the teams to raise the most money, and this year they are having a silent auction as their fundraiser for the event.  You may visit her blog, Laura Odom Photography, to see the items that are up for auction.  The auction for each item usually lasts a few days, and then, she will post a new item.  My donation will be showcased soon, and I will let you know when it has been added.  However, in the meantime, be sure to stop by Laura's blog to check out the great items that are being auctioned.  There have already been so many cute things showcased!  The instructions for participating are on her blog with each item. You may have to scroll down the page a bit to see the item that is up currently up for auction, as she posts new things every few days.  So be sure to stop by her blog, and join in the fun…you'll be glad you did!!  And, you'll be helping in the fight against cancer!
