On Memorial Day ~ May  we remember those that have given the ultimate sacrifice…may we think of their families and loved ones.

And, may we take time to let them know…a little message, a text, a phone call.

It can really mean so much.

May we look at our flag and remember all that it stands for, those who fought so bravely, and for the hope it offers as it waves across our land.

Today, may we remember just what this day is really all about…and, may we not forget this tomorrow or the next day.

As we drove through our neighborhood at various times throughout the weekend, I loved seeing all the flags placed along the sidewalks, in front of homes, and waving beautifully at the entrances.  Each time I passed by them, I thought about those that we have known personally that are our heroes.   And, I especially thought about their families.  Praying for comfort for all those that are missing their loved one today.
