Happy Sunday, sweet friends!! I hope your day is off to a great start! I had not exactly decided that today would be the day for my new beginning of my 365 Photo a Day Challenge, but it just “hit me” that it’s going to be!  You may remember I started this challenge after the New Year, and yes, I had every intention of keeping up with it on a daily basis…maybe missing a day or two and then, catching up a few days later.  And, I did do this for just a bit…yes, just a teeny tiny bit.  But, I was also working on the redesign of my website, continuing to fill orders, working on new designs, and all that jazz.  And, well, I just found that I couldn’t keep up even though I was so excited about this fun challenge.  I thought about trying to go back and catch up, but I realized that oh, my goodness…I would need to do quite a few days at once.  Still no time for such since the website redesign is still ongoing so I just decided to LET.IT.GO for the time being.  Then, one morning it was so nice out so I was sitting out on the patio with my laptop editing some photos and realized that maybe I needed a new challenge.  What…why in the world would I even think of such??  Ok, it’s that creative “me” that has the mind that is always thinking of new designs, new creations I want to work on, fun blog posts to write, and so much more…the mind that just runneth over with ideas!  And, that mind thinks I CAN DO IT…{all}!!  🙂  However, the reality is that I just need to figure out where this falls in my list of priorities and then, try to move forward with it.  So, that is just what I am doing.  I realized that I don’t have to go “with the flow” and only start this challenge at the beginning of a new year or some other logical time.

It’s ok to BE DIFFERENT…to DANCE to YOUR favorite songs…and, it’s ok to START OVER ~

When I realized just how far behind I had gotten with my initial 365 day challenge I felt so disappointed, frustrated, and well, quite honestly, as though I had failed.  Failed myself and YOU…because I had said that I was going to do a particular thing and here I was just not being able to follow through.  Then, one morning I had one of those “aha” moments when I realized that I just needed to look at it differently.  Sure, I could still look at it as though my attempt was a failure, but I could also choose to look at it in a more positive way.  I could just say “Hey, you tried, you had great intentions, but it just didn’t work out quite the way you had planned ~ LIFE got even more hectic and busy with extra things added to your plate, and that just didn’t work.”  How many times does this happen in LIFE ~ I mean really…let’s think about it…almost every day we face things that maybe don’t go just as we had hoped, planned, or dreamed.  Can’t just give up…well, we can, but I can assure you…THAT is not my nature!   So looking at this little situation in a new light I realized that I.CAN.DO.IT ~ just differently ~ just my way ~ and, exactly as my blog implies…through Ann-Margaret’s Visions.  🙂

So, here we go again…yep, that’s right…I’m thinking of it as a little “do over” as they say.  Same goal…to share some of my visions through the camera with you on a daily basis.  I may have a really busy week and only get to share one picture at the beginning of the week and then, catch up on the rest at the end of the week.  As I started thinking about this a couple of weeks ago, I realized THIS is really the best time…SPRING…a time of new beginnings, a fresh start…the time when our souls feel awakened to all of the many possibilities that come with each day.  And, I love spring so…this is the perfect time for ME!  I hope you will follow along with me as I embark on this sweet little challenge again.  I love photography, and oh, boy, I have so much I want to share with you ~ it means so much to me for you to stop by my blog and enjoy this journey with me. 🙂  And, when you do…leave me a comment…tell me something you enjoy, tell me about a challenge you are embarking upon, or just say “hi” because I love hearing from you!
