As you know, I am still doing a little "catching up" here on my blog. Thanks so much for bearing with me…my shoulder issue continues to be rather frustrating so I am having to learn to take more breaks from the computer so "catching up" is taking just a bit longer than I had anticipated! :) I am really in need of a few BEACH DAYS so I thought I would share some more pics from our trip to the Cayman Islands back in January. I took soooo many pics while there so I will be sharing some all along with you. I love looking at the pictures over and over again…and, I usually notice a few details that I had yet to see. Hope you enjoy them, too! So, grab your beach bag and those stylin' flip flops, hop in the convertible, and let's head on over to The Lighthouse restaurant for lunch on our very own private deck!
Don't you just love this cute setting? Talk about a view!! Right on the water, private dining, soaking up the sun…what more could you ask for?!!
Now, all we need is something delicious to eat! Coming right up!! The above picture is what John chose for lunch. This is the "Seafood Curry…Shrimp, Scallops, and Calamari…served with Basmati Rice, Papadom, Mango Chutney, and Veggies"…Colorful and Tasty!! I enjoyed the "Jerk Chicken Caesar Wrap", and I can assure you that it was THE BEST chicken wrap I have ever eaten!! I found myself craving it all along during our time on the islands but decided I better take advantage of trying some other things, too! :) All of the food was soooo good during our stay!!!
HAPPY DAYS…that's just what our time consisted of while in the Cayman Islands!!! We had such a great time! This view was right outside of The Lighthouse restaurant. Oh, I'm longing for cool water to tickle my toes as I walk along the beach…with my sweet hubby!! 🙂
Don't worry….this view will be here for you anytime you need to take a little trip! And, there are more to come! More beach scenes, more good food, more happy days…more dreaming…until one day when we return and make new memories!!
