I have been wanting to go here for some time now, and honestly, I cannot believe it has taken me this long to visit The Cheesecake Factory! Wow!!….I had heard they have lots of sweet treats (as you can imagine!) and so many delicious goodies to choose from, but that is an understatement! We headed to Clarendon, a cute little town not far from where we live, and decided we would try a new place for a late lunch. As we were walking along trying to decide, I looked up and almost yelled, "Oh my goodness!! It's the Cheesecake Factory!! We HAVE to eat there!!" Then, I took a deep breath, looked up at John and said, "You don't mind do you?? You'll love it! I've heard so much about it! We HAVE to eat here!!" So, what choice did the poor guy have! He was probably happy to see a SMILE on my face…I will tell you a little secret…On Friday morning I awoke to a rather unpleasant surprise…a pinched nerve or something in my right shoulder blade in the back. Can we just say "OUCH"!! I know it was from staying up too late a couple of nights doing alot of work at the computer. Word of advice…keeping your arm in an outstretched position working "Mr. Mouse" is not a good thing! Too bad I don't take my own advice! So, now you can see why John did not even try to resist…I was smiling…my look of pain had subsided for a moment!
Can we just say that my SMILE got even bigger when we walked through those big doors?!! I immediately headed to the cheesecake bakery case! Please overlook these pictures. I knew I wouldn't really want to have my bigger camera hanging around my neck that day so that sweet baby was left at home. But, my lovable Canon always does a pretty good job…it was just rather dark inside…but, I wasn't about to miss out on making your mouth water a little! haha
"Fresh Strawberry Cheesecake" is one of the favorites at The Cheesecake Factory! John ordered a slice of this one! It was yummy!
There was "Chocolate Chip Cookie-Dough Cheesecake"! Doesn't this look simply delicious?? I am wishing for a piece of this one now!
But, if you need a little more chocolate, you might like this one! Rich and decadent…to say the least!
With a selection like this, how could you go wrong?!! I couldn't believe the list of different cheesecake! Key lime, blueberry white chocolate, carrot cake, Godiva chocolate, and so much more!! Is your mouth watering now? Let's start that diet later!!
This is just a sampling of our visit to The Cheesecake Factory so stay tuned for more! Wait til you see what we tried for an appetizer!! I know you southern girls would have liked it! I did!! I'll keep you guessing a little longer though. I'm trying to do a little "catch up" again…this shoulder issue really needs to head on out!! There's blogging to be done!! I'm thinking we might need another visit to the Cayman Islands…that ought to cure anything! I'm not sure what day we'll go so just be ready…no need to pack a thing…we'll go shopping!! 🙂
