I know…you woke up this morning thinking it was just going to be an ordinary Monday, right? Well, think again! We're taking a drive along the Pacific Coast Hwy…I thought it might be fun to start this week off on the right flip flop!! :) Yep, it's summertime, my friends, and we need some adventure, beaches, and wind in our hair! In reality, I'm rather busy today…working on orders, being creative in the studio, and keeping check on my sweet Tucker to name just a few. But, I am really craving some beach time so I thought I'd share some of these pics with you from a trip to California a few years ago. Isn't that what photos are all about…saving the moment so you can relive the memory over and over again?!! Come on…we're heading to Cali, baby!!
John and I had the best time driving along this beautiful scenic route. Wow! It was amazing! If we looked to one side we saw beautiful beaches like this one above, and on the other side were gorgeous homes nestled in the hills. Some of those homes must have the most exquisite views! We stopped many times to savor the scenery and check out the beach from another amazing spot. And, believe me, it was breathtaking to be standing high above the beach and see this beautiful picture stretch for as far as we could see.
I'll share some of the pictures of the surfers in another post, but we had so much fun walking along a pier watching them hang out waiting for that perfect wave. And, somehow, I was lucky enough to find my own cute surfer! How 'bout we catch some waves, surfer boy?!! 🙂
Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to California if we didn't get in on a little Hollywood action! This is the place to see all the characters…and, there were quite a few! We had fun going on the Hollywood tour and saw lots of interesting homes, celebrity hangouts, and businesses…Capitol Records and many more!
Although we didn't see Stallone in person…well, we did see his STAR!! It was a great trip, as we saw lots of fun sites, beautiful beaches and scenery, and enjoyed yummy food at some great restaurants. I guess I better get back to reality! Back to work it is, but wasn't it fun to take a little trip and break away from the chaos?!! Keep your flip flops ready because we are going to be doing a bit of traveling here on the blog this summer.
