Happy Monday, Sweet  Friends!  Hope you had a relaxing weekend and are excited to begin a new week!  It’s here so we might as well be, right?!! I’m going to be sharing some fun new things here on the blog so let me tell you a little about what you can look forward to.  This is often my view as I am sketching, working on blog posts, finding inspiration, and relaxing a bit.  A place that makes my heart so happy!

My word for 2013 is POSITIVITY so each Monday I will be sharing a “Cuppa Positivity” with you on my Facebook page, as well as, that “cuppa” will be shared with you here on that day’s blog post.  The “Cuppa Positivity” may be one of my favorite quotes, inspirational thoughts, a photo, or a little story.  It’s all about starting our week off on a POSITIVE note because a mind that is filled with POSITIVITY is one that is much more prepared to face a new day, week, experience, or anything else life tosses our way.  And, I do believe Monday is the perfect day for this cuppa!! Remember this post about how Mondays can kinda make me crazy?  Well, they seem to affect many of us so I’m excited to try giving Monday a bit of a makeover, and it’s going to start first thing each Monday morning when I take a sip from my “Cuppa Positivity”!!  I’ll supply the “cuppa”, the positivity, the location, and all you have to do is show up and be ready to start Monday with a SMILE!!

Up next is ending the week with a bit of fun as we head into the weekend.  I loved sharing my Sunset Sundays with you and appreciate all the wonderful comments and thoughts you shared on them (thank you so much!).  Your enthusiasm and interest really added to my excitement to keep up with them. I thought it would be fun to start a new little series though so I’ve decided I want it to include my love for birds.  I have the most beautiful, amazing little visitors that stop by our yard at times, and I am always being entertained on the beach by the seagulls, pelicans, and other little peeps.  I was going to keep with the theme and stick to Sundays but loved it when John came up with “Feathered Fridays” so I think it will be fun to call it “Feathered {Friends} Friday”!  Friday is a good day to choose because it seems everyone is always excited for the weekend to arrive, scurrying through Friday so they can head to the fun stuff.  And, since some of these birds seem to do a lot of scurrying about…well, I think it’s a good fit!    These feathered friends may be sharing a recipe with you, a dose of inspiration, photography, artwork, or something else that pops into my overflowing mind of ideas!

Now, a little news from the studio…I have lots of WIP {works in progress} I am excited to share with you and new art that is finished and ready for the shoppe.  I will be sharing more peeks into my studio, showing you some of my favorite spots to work in, along with some of the fun supplies that seem to be my favorites.  I’ll be sharing some details on what inspired certain works of art, how I find my inspiration, and how I plan to make sure I sketch or paint every single day.

More of my photography will be added to the shoppe as prints, and I really must tell you how much I love having my camera in my hand!  Each photo holds its own story, a place I’ve visited, a lesson I learned, or a bit of inspiration that turned my day around, and I want to share these things with you!

And, of course, Sir Tucker will still be sharing his “Tuesdays with Tucker™” posts so be sure to keep up with what all he is into!  Be sure to become a friend of his Facebook page so you don’t miss any of his updates!  He personally responds to every message! 🙂
