Pumpkins on the Porch ~ Planning for the Holidays

Oh, my…is it really already November?? Wow…it seems like we were just in September so I’m not sure how October got by so quickly! Isn’t this just how it goes this time of year though? It seems like the end of summer draws to a close, and next thing you know it’s time to pull...

  • Yes, I’ll have one of those cupcakes please 🙂

Ann-Margaret, thank you for these wonderful, simple, yet difficult for me to do tips for the holidays. It is November 7, and I am going to try to do these things. Every year I tell myself, “Next year I’m not going through this stress.” Ha-Ha! So far, I’ve managed to come up with enough stressors that make me tired, tense, and irritable. Love what you said about writing down what is dear to my heart.

So, thank you for this post! I will let you know how this year goes 🙂

You are so welcome, Nancy!! I’m so happy you enjoyed this post!! It is so hard to not fall into the trap of feeling stressed during holiday time…I think our hearts just have so many things we want to do and be a part of. Here’s to us making our list and keeping in touch with it as the weeks go by so we can truly enjoy this special time of year! 🙂 Hugs, sweet friend!ReplyCancel

You Got This, Sista Gal!

My sister and I tease with each other and often call the other one “Sista Gal”, and I also do this with my sweet niece.  And, of course, it’s much better if you put a little sass with it!  🙂  I think I sketched this cute chick on the beach one day…very quickly with a...
