Ann-Margaret’s Visions has a new address, and I’m so excited to share it with you! Yep, that’s right…I’ve been working on this new “nest” behind the scenes and getting everything ready for the big move. Well, moving day has finally arrived, and my blog is all nestled in its new spot. I had been thinking of moving to a WordPress blog with my own hosting for awhile and finally took the plunge. At first, it just seemed like a daunting task, and although it took a good amount of tweaking, preparing, and finalizing, it was worth it, and my hard work has paid off (But, I couldn’t have done it without the ProPhoto guys…Dan rocks…that’s all I can say!! But, I will tell you more about him and their amazing company in another post!)! There are lots of little corners for you to check out (and, I’m still tweaking a few final touches). You’ll find cute little sliding drawers over on the left side so you can see the latest news on my Facebook shoppe page and see what I’ve been tweeting about on Twitter. Just move your cursor over the drawers, and you’ll see the info. And, if you would like to stroll on over to one of those areas, just click on the links inside each one. You’ll find another sliding drawer there that will take you to my Etsy shoppe…or, you may just hang out here and view the little slideshow the drawer offers. Be sure to check out the “Newsletter” drawer. There’s a sign up box waiting for your email address if you are not already on my list. I’ll be sending out a November newsletter soon so be sure your name is on the list so you won’t miss out! Need to scoot over to my personal shoppe…just click on the link above in the menu bar! 🙂
If you would like to see some of my favorite photographs I have taken, just click on the “Portfolio” link above. I’ll be sharing some of my fave pics there. As I am working on blog posts, I often come across pictures that I really want to share with you so instead of always waiting til I’m writing that “perfect post” to go along with a certain picture, I will share some of them in my portfolio…a fun little gallery of sorts! I’ve just started adding to it so be sure to stop by all along to see what’s new!
Tucker is just soooo excited for us to tell you about this next little feature….so much that he just couldn’t help himself…
He started rolling…and growling…and snorting in the grass like a little wild man! He was being so silly, giggling like a little kid! And, this is what happened….
Just like that….he was “All Tucker’d Out”!! Oh, goodness, I’m about to forget to tell you what all his excitement was about! We are so happy to tell you about the “Designs” tab up in the menu bar. If you move your cursor up to it, you will see a dropdown menu that appears with other options. Those options will take you to my “New Designs”, “Belt Buckle Designs”, “Silver Pendants”, and my “Design Portfolio” (a gallery of my signature designs). Remember how I have often told you that you may choose a design you like from one item and have it created on another? If you really love a design on a pendant but prefer that design on a belt buckle, just let me know. Most any design may be interchanged among my signature items. And, I am so excited about the addition of those new menu options because they offer a quick and easy way for you to get a nice view of all of my designs…in one spot! I am still adding designs to those galleries, as I will eventually have all of my designs shown there. You may see my designs in my personal shoppe and my Etsy shoppe, of course, but this new feature just gives you another view.
I hope you have fun strolling about my new blog, and I would love to hear your feedback. Have you found a favorite “new item” that I have added? Believe me, I’ve been working on this “baby” many nights till wee hours of the morning trying to get everything just like I want it, and I’ve changed my mind a few times…ok, a lot…about where I wanted things or how I wanted this or that to look. But, I just love all the features and ease of posting this new blog gives me. Watch out…you may find me posting twice in one day sometimes! 🙂
Since you’re at my new nest, it is rather fitting for me to showcase the “Bird on a Wire” pendant above. I was recently asked to create two of these sweet pendants for two flower girls. The wedding theme focused on bird nests, birds, and had a vintage feel to it so I thought this pendant was a perfect choice for the customer to pick out. And, I had the best time working with the customer; she was so sweet and so excited about finding this pendant for her friend’s special day! I love getting to be a part of such happy moments…and, I truly love that you all allow my creations to be enjoyed for such special life events! Thank you!!
And, for you girls that just love PINK…(hmm…know anyone like that??? 🙂 )….the pendant also comes with this vintage handwritten pink background. Makes such a sweet gift, too!
