The sunset yesterday was simply amazing…AGAIN! Each day I think it cannot possibly be outdone by the next one, and He {God} shows me that oh, yes it can! As we approached the end of the boardwalk, I glanced up to see the sun getting ready to escape into the water and was able to snap a few beautiful shots to share with you. As I was looking through them this morning I realized that the colors of the sky in this photo actually offer beautiful shades of orange and yellow that are just perfect as inspiration for our fall color palette. If you look closely at the sun you will see the glowing circle around it…I just love how it was captured in the picture. We truly did step onto the beach at just the right moment because the sun disappears so quickly at this time. What a beautiful way to start an evening!
Next week I will get back to a more regular schedule of blogging, as I will be reopening my shoppe. I am so excited to share new designs and items with you! In the meantime, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorite posts that you may have missed. So, today I think the above picture is inspiring me to pull out my fall pictures from last year. I loved decorating our front porch and enjoyed it each time I arrived home…or, even when I was dancing to the mailbox! 🙂 Have you picked out some pumpkins for your porch yet? I still have to get some but have been getting the front porch of our new home “cozied up”…this just means I have been giving it a warm, homey feel! I’ll share pictures with you soon. Do you just decorate with a fall theme or do you go all out and put up lots of Halloween decor?? Do tell!!
